We are a community anti-violence initiative and awareness campaign. Our commitment is to turn a single room into an overpowering exhibit of human strength. We collect stories, artwork, photographs, and other creative expressions by individuals impacted by interpersonal violence (rape, sexual assault, abuse, harassment, intimate partner violence, and violence against a person because of one’s gender identity). All people impacted by violence – friends, family, loved ones, survivors themselves – are asked to express their thoughts freely, anonymously, and creatively in order to show the world what empowerment looks like.Everyone, no matter who you are or where you live, is invited to participate. Submissions may be in the material and format of the creator’s choice, as simple or complex as desired. The submission period is open and submissions are accepted on a constant and rolling basis. The works will then be featured collectively in a wall-to-wall exhibit each year and posted online as a call to action against violence issues in our nation and our world.
